To apply under the GSCC Scheme, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand.
A valid Jharkhand Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority is mandatory.
Applicants must have resided in Jharkhand for the minimum period defined in the state domicile policy.
Students studying outside Jharkhand are also eligible, provided they belong to Jharkhand by domicile.

Yes. Students from Jharkhand pursuing education in other states or abroad are eligible if they hold a valid Jharkhand Domicile Certificate and study at a recognized institution.
Q3. Is there any income limit to apply for GSCC?
Yes, the annual family income should generally not exceed ₹12 lakh per annum. Applicants from low-income groups are given preference during selection and verification.
Q4. Are private colleges and universities eligible under GSCC?
Yes, provided they are recognized by AICTE, UGC, or any other statutory authority. Unrecognized private institutions are not eligible for financial assistance.
Q5. Can diploma and ITI students apply for GSCC?
Absolutely. Polytechnic, ITI, and diploma course students are eligible as long as their programs are approved by AICTE or NCVT.

If your institution or course is not recognized by a government-approved body (UGC, AICTE, etc.), your loan application will be rejected automatically. Always confirm recognition before applying.
