Fine Arts entrance exams have to be taken by students aspiring for admissions to the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. NATA is conducted for admissions in design and architecture and JEE Main is also taken for a few fields of design, BFA and MFA entrance tests of Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia University and Symbiosis University. These examinations generally entail drawing, creativity, pencil/pen pushing and tests on portfolios. UGC NET is for postgraduate candidates who want to teach Fine Arts. There are, however, general criteria set usually; the course must be completed with a minimum of 10+2 or a B.F.A.
