GMAT Overview

The GMAT Focus Edition is the only version of the GMAT available for the 2026 academic cycle. The previous “Classic” GMAT has been officially retired, although past scores remain valid for five years from the original test date.

The updated GMAT Focus Edition is shorter, more streamlined, and designed to assess higher-order reasoning, logical thinking, and data analysis skills. It features a revised scoring scale and flexible section order.
