🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
Educational Qualification:
- Option A: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute OR Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council.
- Option B: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) with minimum 2 years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
Age Limit (As on Closing Date):
- Age Range: 18 to 30 Years.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation applies for OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10 years), and Central Government employees.
💰 Application Fee & Mode of Payment
- General / OBC Candidates: ₹3,000/-
- SC / ST Candidates / EWS: ₹2,400/- (SC/ST candidates appearing for the exam will get fee reimbursement after result declaration).
- PwBD Candidates: Exempted from fee payment.
📑 NORCET 11 Selection Process & Exam Scheme
The recruitment will be conducted in two sequential computer-based testing (CBT) stages:
Stage 1: NORCET Preliminary Examination (Qualifying)
- Questions: 100 MCQs (80 Nursing Subject + 20 General Knowledge & Aptitude)
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted per wrong answer.
- Qualifying Cutoff: 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST.
Stage 2: NORCET Mains Examination (Merit Ranking)
- Questions: 100 Case Scenario-Based Practical Clinical MCQs
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Final Selection: Strictly based on merit rank achieved in Stage II Mains.
