Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially started the Class 12 (Intermediate) Annual Board Examination 2026 from February 2, 2026. This year, the Bihar Board Inter exams are being conducted at 1,762 examination centres across the state. Admit Card and Photo ID Compulsory
Students must carry the following documents:
- Printed BSEB Class 12 Admit Card 2026
- Valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar card / School ID / any government ID)
Without these documents, students will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
Shoes and Socks Banned Inside Centres
BSEB has continued its strict dress code policy. Students are advised:
- Shoes and socks are not permitted
- Students should wear light footwear or slippers
- Shoes may be allowed only if weather conditions demand, but thick soles are not allowed
Students should follow the dress code properly to avoid unnecessary delays during checking.
Strict Warning: Illegal Entry Will Lead to FIR
The Bihar Board has also warned students against entering the exam centre illegally after the gates are closed.
If any student tries to enter forcefully after gate closure, it will be treated as criminal trespass, and the board may take strict action including:
- Expulsion for up to 2 years
- FIR registration
- Legal action as per rules
Electronic Gadgets Strictly Prohibited
The board has completely banned electronic items in the examination hall. Students are not allowed to carry:
- Mobile phones
- Smartwatches
- Bluetooth devices
- Earphones
- Calculators
- Any electronic gadgets
Students found with prohibited items may face serious consequences.

To clear the Bihar Board Intermediate exam 2026, students must score minimum qualifying marks:
- Theory: Minimum 30% marks in each subject
- Practical: Minimum 40% marks in practical subjects
