How to Self-Report Online (Mandatory!)

Checking allotment is NOT enough. You must self-report online to confirm your seat.

Login to dfrosts.co.in with your credentials
Click "Self Report" button on your allotment page
Choose one option: "I am Satisfied" (accept this seat) OR "Not Satisfied — Participate in Phase 2"
Pay the tuition fee online (for government colleges: ~₹2,000–5,000 per semester)
Download the self-reporting confirmation and take it to the college on the reporting date
⚠️
Critical: If you do NOT self-report by May 23, your seat will be automatically cancelled. Even if you want to try for a better college in Phase 2, you MUST self-report in Phase 1 first to keep your current seat as a backup.

3 Options After Phase 1 Allotment

OptionWhat It MeansWhat to Do
✅ Satisfied — Accept SeatYou're happy with allotted college & courseSelf-report + pay fee → admission confirmed. No further phases needed.
🔄 Not Satisfied — Try Phase 2You want a better college/courseSelf-report + pay fee NOW → also participate in Phase 2. If better seat comes, old one auto-cancelled.
❌ No AllotmentNo seat allotted in Phase 1Don't worry! Automatically eligible for Phase 2. You can also edit your web options before Phase 2 deadline.
💡
Smart Strategy: Even if not satisfied, always self-report in Phase 1. This secures your current seat as backup. If you get a better allotment in Phase 2, the Phase 1 seat is automatically released and fee is adjusted. You lose nothing!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Self-reporting nahi kiya toh kya hoga?

Your allotted seat will be automatically cancelled. You'll have to wait for Phase 2/3 and there's no guarantee of getting the same or better seat. Always self-report before the deadline.

Phase 2 mein better college mil sakta hai?

Haan. Phase 2 mein leftover seats + cancelled seats available hote hain. Agar aapki rank acchi hai aur Phase 1 mein desired college nahi mila, toh Phase 2 mein better option mil sakta hai. But Phase 1 seat zaroor secure karo as backup.

Fee kitni lagegi?

Government colleges: ~₹2,000–5,000 per semester (varies by course). Private aided colleges: ₹5,000–15,000. SC/ST/BC students with valid income certificate are eligible for fee reimbursement by the Telangana government.

Kya web options change kar sakte hain Phase 2 ke liye?

Haan. Phase 2 ke liye ek short window milegi (usually 3-4 days) jismein aap apne college/course preferences edit kar sakte hain. Keep checking dfrosts.co.in for exact dates.

Out-of-state students apply kar sakte hain?

TS DOST is primarily for Telangana domicile students. However, some seats in private colleges may be available for students from other states. Check the specific college's eligibility criteria on the DOST portal.
