BITS Pilani offers a Merit-Cum-Means (MCN) scholarship scheme to financially assist students while rewarding academic excellence. The scholarship is categorized into two main types: Institute’s Merit Awards and Merit-Cum-Need Awards. These scholarships are designed to support deserving students based on their academic performance and financial need.

Institute’s Own Merit Awards Scheme:

• Top 1% of Students: 100% waiver on total tuition fees
• Next 2% of Students: 40% waiver on total tuition fees

Institute’s Own Merit-Cum-Need Awards Scheme:

• Top 3% of Students: 80% waiver on total tuition fees
• Next 6% of Students: 40% waiver on total tuition fees
• Next 12% of Students: 25% waiver on total tuition fees
• Next 6% of Students: 15% waiver on total tuition fees

Important Notes:

• There is no waiver of the admission fee under the Merit-Cum-Means scholarship scheme.
• These awards are based on academic performance and financial need, ensuring that students with strong merit but requiring financial assistance receive the necessary support.
