Shoolini University, Solan offers a variety of scholarships to support deserving and needy students in their academic pursuits. The scholarships are available for Ph.D. programs, undergraduate (UG), and postgraduate (PG) courses. Below are the key scholarship categories available at Shoolini University:

Ph.D. Scholarships

  1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
    • Number of Awards: 20
    • Benefit:
      • ₹31,000 per month for three years
      • Full tuition fee waiver for three years
    • Eligibility: Candidates with strong research potential. Additional scholarships are available through extramural projects or university funds.
  2. Chancellor’s Fully Funded Research Fellows
    • Number of Awards: 10
    • Benefit:
      • 100% tuition fee waiver for three years
    • Eligibility: Open to internal and external Ph.D. students. Chancellor's fellows are required to publish a minimum of two research papers every year with an impact factor of 2 or more.
  3. Existing Shoolini Students/Alumni
    • Number of Awards: 10
    • Benefit:
      • 100% waiver on second-semester tuition fees
    • Eligibility: Available for Shoolini students or alumni who are admitted to the Ph.D. program.

Undergraduate & Postgraduate Scholarships

  1. Single Parent (Mother) Child Scholarship
    • Benefit:
      • Equivalent to 20% of tuition fee for the first year
    • Eligibility:
      • Minimum 65% marks in the preceding degree
      • Family income below INR 5 lakhs
      • A copy of the father's death certificate and income certificate.
  2. Merit-Based Scholarships for UG Programs
    • Benefit:
      • 90-95%: 50% tuition fee waiver for the first semester
      • 96% & above: 75% tuition fee waiver for the first semester
    • Eligibility: Based on the overall percentage across all subjects in the Class XII board exam.
  3. Need-Cum-Merit Scholarships for UG/PG Programs
    • Benefit:
      • Up to 75% scholarship on tuition fee for all years
    • Eligibility:
      • Minimum 65% in the preceding degree
      • Family income below INR 4 lakhs
      • A copy of the XII class final board exam mark sheet, income certificate, and bank statement.
  4. Scholarships for Wards of Shoolini/SILB Employees
    • Benefit:
      • 100% tuition fee waiver for UG/PG courses
    • Eligibility: Minimum 60% in the preceding degree program.
  5. BPL Scholarships
    • Benefit:
      • 100% tuition fee waiver
    • Eligibility:
      • Minimum 65% in the preceding degree program
      • BPL certificate, income certificate, and XII class final board exam mark sheet.
  6. Shoolini Academic Progression Scholarship (SAPS)
    • Benefit:
      • INR 40,000 for MBA students and INR 30,000 for other PG students for the second semester
    • Eligibility:
      • Minimum 65% or 6.5 OGPA for MBA
      • Minimum 60% or 6 OGPA for other PG programs

Sports Scholarships

  1. International Level Sports Scholarships
    • Benefit:
      • 50% tuition fee waiver in the second semester
    • Eligibility: For Olympic-level sports participants.
  2. National Level Sports Scholarships
    • Benefit:
      • 25% tuition fee waiver in the second semester
    • Eligibility: For national-level sport participants.

Special Scholarships

  1. Sh. Paramahansa Yogananda Scholarship
    • Benefit:
      • One-time award of ₹50,000
    • Eligibility:
      • Awarded based on a written test from the book Autobiography of a Yogi.
  2. Defense Scholarship
    • Benefit:
      • 10% tuition fee scholarship for the 1st and 3rd semester
    • Eligibility: For non-commissioned officers and jawans.
  3. Class Topper Scholarship
    • Benefit:
      • ₹2,000 per semester
    • Eligibility: Based on the highest OGPA in the semester.

Terms and Conditions for Shoolini University Scholarships

  • Eligibility: Only students admitted in the academic year 2020-21 are eligible to avail of scholarships announced for that year.
  • Attendance: A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for the scholarship to continue.
  • Scholarship Application: All scholarships will be adjusted only against the tuition fee of the student. Students must submit original documents and self-attested copies for verification.
  • Multiple Scholarships: Only one scholarship can be availed at the time of admission. Once a scholarship is awarded, it will continue according to the terms and conditions unless approved by the Scholarship Committee to change.
  • Discontinuation: Shoolini University reserves the right to discontinue any scholarship or make changes to the scholarship conditions without prior notice.
