IISER IAT 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment Today — Accept by August 13
The IISER IAT 2026 Round 3 admission offer goes live today, August 10, 2026 at 5:00 PM, on iiseradmission.in. Candidates who receive an offer must accept it by 5:00 PM on August 13. This is the third and, as per the current schedule, the last listed round of IISER counselling this year.
What Is Happening Today
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research will publish the Round 3 admission offer for IAT 2026 counselling this evening. Candidates can log in and see whether a seat has been offered to them.
Round 3 draws on seats left vacant after the first two rounds. Candidates who did not get an offer earlier, or who were waiting for a better institute or programme, have their strongest chance here.
The IISER Aptitude Test 2026 was held on June 7, 2026 and drew more than 70,000 candidates. IAT is now the only entrance route to the IISERs — the older JEE Advanced and KVPY channels have been discontinued.

How to Check and Accept Your Offer
Step 1. Go to iiseradmission.in after 5:00 PM today.
Step 2. Log in with your application number and password.
Step 3. Open the Round 3 admission offer link and check the allotted IISER and programme.
Step 4. Record your willingness — accept the offer or decline it, as per the options shown.
Step 5. Pay the seat acceptance fee if the portal asks for it, then download the confirmation.
How the Allotment Is Decided
Seat allotment is prepared from four inputs: your IAT 2026 rank, the order of preferences you submitted during counselling, your category, and the seats still available in this round.
Admissions through IAT cover the BS-MS dual degree and other undergraduate programmes at the IISERs located in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati.
Check the institute-specific programme list on the portal before accepting. Preferences already locked cannot be edited at the acceptance stage.
What Students Should Do Next
If you receive an offer you want: accept it inside the window, pay any fee the portal requires, and keep your Class 12 marksheet, IAT scorecard, category certificate and photo ID ready for institute-level verification.
If you receive an offer you are unsure about: weigh it against the risk of holding out. With Round 3 being the last listed round, declining a live offer can leave you without a seat.
If you do not receive an offer: watch the portal for any further vacancy notice, and keep your alternative admission options active in parallel.
