Nalanda Institute of Technology (NIT) offers a wide range of scholarships to recognize and reward academic excellence, sports achievements, cultural talents, and financial need. Special scholarships are also available to support female students, economically disadvantaged students, and differently-abled individuals.

Merit Scholarships:

Shri Rajendra Prasad Merit Scholarship: Provides a 50% tuition fee waiver for the first year to students who have secured between 90% and 95% in their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.

Institute President’s Scholarship: Offers a 20% tuition fee waiver for the first year to students with 80% to less than 90% marks in their 10+2 exams from a recognized board.

Entrance Exam Rewards:

NIT Entrance Exam Top Scorers: The top 200 scorers in the NIT entrance exam are eligible for scholarships, provided they have a minimum of 60% in their last qualified examination and take compulsory in-campus accommodation.

Financial Aid:

Need-Based Financial Assistance: NIT offers financial support to students based on their financial need, ensuring that students from economically weaker sections can pursue their education without financial burden.

Sports & Cultural Talent:

NIT Sports Scholarship: Awarded to students who have achieved excellence in sports, with eligibility criteria including a minimum of 7.5 CGPA in the previous year’s examination, 75% attendance in each semester, and no backlogs.
